Hebrion Empire was a sovereign country ruled by the Roguepalace Family.
Since the revolution the nobles were afraid of the power of the commoners and to prevent that, the nobles continued to suppress them. This was also directly noticeable in the Hebrion Academy.
The empire was established by its first emperor, Rusphena Hebrion on a 4th of January. Ever since then, there has been an annual celebration of good times and national pride. This day is known as National Foundation Day or just Founding Day.
In the past, when a commoner revolt known as the Revolutionary Army occupied Dresden´s Royal Palace, the child Emperor was beheaded without a chance to leave behind any descendants and Hebrion´s royal bloodline consequently died out. At the time, the Roguepalace Family was considered to be next in line since they carried the blood of the Hebrion Empire´s first Emperor.
Dresden was the capital and the largest city in the empire.
Government and Politics
The formal structure of the Hebrion Empire was centred on the Emperor as the absolute ruler.
Historically, Hebrion Empire and the Western Kingdoms were on bad terms. It was only after the Holy Kingdom fell that they had no choice but to form an uneasy partnership to bring humanity back from the brink of extinction, but there was a lingering animosity between the two nations.
The two main organizations subjugating the Shadow World were Hebrion Academy and the Western Kingdoms, supported by their requisite nations. These organizations competed for every single scrap of Magic Crystal dropped by the Shadow World, and each completed Shadow World dug into the profits of the other. Each successful Shadow World yielded magic crystals that led to military growth for each nation.
In the past, the two nations devolved into a bitter war before the Shadow Worlds started appearing. Rivers of blood flowed and many compared it to the mythical War of Good and Evil. By the time the Shadow Worlds began, the grudge was deep-seated and small skirmishes erupted whenever a Shadow World was being subjugated.
